To create a dense academic atmosphere and display the strong scientific research ability of ECNU, the symposium of lifetime professors invites ECNU’s lifetime professors to give academic lectures regularly. The symposium inspires these professors to maintain academic innovation and keep standing in the academic frontier as the symposium has adopted a commentator system, in which a lifetime professor can invite an off-campus peer expert as his/her commentator to take part in the evaluation of the symposium and guide the discussion.
