The Program Investigation of Curriculum and Instruction in China ( ICIC ) conducted by ICI has cleaned data with endeavor from Prof. Yang Xiangdong and Dr. Huang Xiaorui and got full access to data analysis and research seminar.

The research has been organized on school curricula and teaching to analyze the quality of China’s school education process with nine subthemes: patterns and quality of school’s curriculum scheme; modes of classroom and concepts of Chinese and Math’s teaching; fairness of learning opportunity and educational process; learning engagement and academic burden; learning outcomes and students’ existence state; teachers’ existence state and professional engagement; teacher-student relationship and academic achievement; school curriculum leadership; Parental learning support and involvement. Those are run under each heterogeneous group which consists of 3-5 members.

Now some stage achievements have been gained. For instance, Prof. Cui Yunhuo has reported his team’s progress in article New Curriculum Changed Type of Lesson in Primary and Secondary education? An Evidence-Based Analysis on Pattern of Junior Classroom Teaching. Other individual group has also presented specific research question, assumption and pertinent statistical program.
