The "Sino-US Colloquium - Core Values and World Order" was held at Carnegie Library in Washington, D.C. on October 4-5.

The forum is meant to provide a distinct and invaluable opportunity for political leaders, entrepreneurs, scholars, spiritual leaders and other attendees to discuss the core values regarding relations between China and the United States. Ultimately, the event will provide lofty inspirations that acknowledge the importance of diversity, cultivate exclusive societies and thereby spark a new kind of pluralism that engenders peace and foresters harmony.

Prof. Yang Guorong of ECNU attended the colloquium with invitation and made a keynote speech on universality and particularity, recognition and identity, social justice and spiritual development of individuals at the colloquium.
